What are my glazing options?

While Museum glass is all the rage due to its amazing clarity, superior light transmission, and the fact that you will not see yourself or your living room window reflected in your artwork (see photo above), there are still cases where conservation glazing or even regular glazing is just enough to protect your artwork.

Any art on paper, art that is matted or objects in a shadow box should be covered by glass to protect them from dust, humidity, ageing or fading.
You can choose from these great basic options at LLB, and there are many more to choose from:
Premium Clear Glass - Conservation Clear (UV Protective) -  Reflection Control (surface is etched and slightly frosted) - UV Reflection Control -
Plexi Glass  -  UV Plexi Glass -  Optium Museum Plexi - and other options which we can special order as requested.

For detailed info about any of these and additional glazing options, click here.

On these oversized, highly detailed photographs, we opted tor TRUVUE's OPTIUM MUSEUM ACRYLIC,
which is a premium glazing option that provides the following:

- 99% U V Protection
-Anti Glare
-Lightweight
-Supreme clarity and light transmission
-scratch free surface coating

It's absolutely the best option there is (I think), and in this case it ensures that no reflection will distort the powerful images.

BELOW: this customer opted for a custom finished mirrored glass mat, which also serves as your glazing option.
